Last Saturday was a joyous day for the Fayth team as we celebrated the grand opening of our 3rd retail store.
Since K-style has been all the rage the past years, a K-styling workshop was organised as part of the celebration. Alongside our partner 13rushes, their makeup artist Xara, as well as guest influencer XinLin, we shared ways to effortlessly incorporate Korean feels into our everyday style.
Xara kickstarted the workshop by giving XinLin a full face Korean look makeover, dropping tips and tricks on how to better utilise your brushes along the way.
I’m sure you’re as guilty as we are for associating Korean make-up with the iconic Korean straight brows. News flash! That’s already a thing of the past! Insider tip from Xara reveals that the Korean brow trend now is to add a little arch. Think American style brows but not as exaggerated.
Moving on, our assistant fashion designers, Celestine and Lee Le, then took over the latter part of the workshop.
We’d be lying if we said that it was no challenge for our designers to deviate from their usual feminine style for a style that’s better described to be cute and preppy. However, being K-style advocates themselves, they were more eager than anything to be sharing how they usually assimilate K-style into classic Fayth pieces.
Albeit not exhaustive, our K-style guide that’s carefully created by our designers makes a great and clear catalog for those who wish to start dressing K-style without changing up the whole wardrobe.

And last but not least, the 20 of you who took time off on a Saturday afternoon to attend our workshop. The workshop would not have been possible without you ladies!
We had a helluva good time at our grand opening and, we sure hope you ladies did too. Enough of ramblings, now shop away at our newest outlet!
